Adventures underground

Well me mateys!  Does I ever have a tale of adventure for you today!!!

Whilst I were exploring about the site today, I came across some stairs what led to an underground chamber!

But avast, the door be locked!!!

So I ran to ge get Pirate Daddy.  "Daddy, you ol' sea dog.  What manner of secrets be ye keepin' from me all this time?  Thar be a door what leads to a secret chamber right here where we work and ye never spoke a word of it to me?"

Pirate Daddy looked scared.  "Aye, Shortbeard me old friend!  I didn't speak no word of this because it be a dangerous place down there." he said.  "Aye!  But now that I have me sword, I can look after meself!"

"I'll open the lock," said Daddy, "but you'll be makin' this trip alone.  She be too scary fer me!"

So Daddy unlocked the lock and I pushed on the door.  Creeeeeak! and the door opened.

There were more stairs and at the end...

A room with another tunnel.

So I climbed down into the tunnel.  But as I were heading down, I came across some slimy slugs what live in the tunnels.  "Stay back!" I yelled.  "Shortbeard fears no man nor beast!"

They answered me.  "We won't hurt you Shortbeard, but be careful.  A snake lives at the bottom of this tunnel.  Best have your sword at the ready.

Well I jumped to the bottom of the tunnel with me sword drawn and sure enough, there came at me a big, long snake!

"Back!"  Ye best leave me be.  I'm Shortbeard and I've come to explore these parts to see what treasure may lie below!"

"Ha ha ha!"  Laughed the snake.  "You think that little sword will protect you from me?  I could have you wrapped up in a second if I wanted!"

But he were bluffin' as I saw him shaking in fear himself.

"How about a cookie?"  I said.  "Ah!  You'd give me a cookie?" he asked.

"Sure, here ya go.  Now will ye leave me be?"

"You may pass." said the snake.

So down the tunnel I went, till I came to the spot where might be the treasure!

"Shiver me timbers!"  Someone had been there before and had already dug up the loot.  "I'll be you it was the Man in Black!  Or maybe it were Timothy and Theodore!

It were then what I heard Daddy calling me.  "Be ye ok Pirate Shortbeard?"

"Aye" said I as I headed up to the surface.  Never in my life were I so happy to see the sun again.
