The other day Pirate Daddy showed me some pictures of Pirate Timothy and Pirate Theodore swimming in the water. "What sea be that, Pirate Daddy?" asked I. "Har! That be no sea, Shortbeard, me mate. That be their swimming pool! When it gets warm, Pirate Timothy and Pirate Theodore go swimming in their backyard!"
"Argh!" said I. "I wish I could go swimming!"
"Aye, but ye can!" said Pirate Daddy. "Let's go to the beach!"
So we went to the sea fer a swim.
At first I were a bit wary. The seas were too rough to swim!
In one place, the water shot straight up from the rock!
At first I thought it were a sea monster and I ran to find protection from the beast.
But Pirate Daddy showed me it were just the sea.
Then he showed me a small pool of me own, where I could take me a swim away from the strong waves. "Be this just like the pool what have Pirates Theodore and Timothy?"
"Aye!" said Pirate Daddy. "This be as close as you'll be getting here!"
So I threw off me hat and sword and went for a swim.
After that we searched for beach glass on the shore.
"Avast!" said I. "Here be a piece for Pirate Mommy.
Timothy said that in the second picture there is a flag in the background. He said that he would like to walk over on the rocks and get the flag for Pirate Shortbeard, and Pirate Daddy could get the boat for Pirate Shortbeard to sail on.
