Today, Pirate Daddy showed me that pirate ships aren't the only place where ye can find a stout and hearty crew. We went to a monastery!
But first we had to make sure we were a wearin' the right clothes. Lucky for me, I always look me best! But, no swords allowed!
Once Pirate Daddy's crew were ready, we headed up the stairs and into the church.
In one place they had some shaky columns. It reminded me of the repairs I once made to me own ship when the mainmast broke!
Here were an olive mill where they turn olives into oil. I challenged Pirate Daddy's crew to a race, but they all knew that I were the fastest!
After looking around, I sat down with our pirate crew. "Mates! I'm a bit wary! For this be a strange place and I don't have me sword.
But it were then that we spied a sight what made me eyes tear up with joy! Cannons!!! Just like the once what I used to fire aboard me ol' ship!
I jumped atop the closest one and tried to load her!
Aye, but she were rooted to the ground and couldn't be aimed.
Pirate Daddy! Help me aim the cannons! Let's let off a warning shot!
But Pirate Daddy chuckled. "Aye, me old mate. There'll be no cannon shooting today. This be a peaceful valley. Come have a picture with me crew. Pirate Theodore and Pirate Timothy want to see what manner men and women we have with us on this adventure.
