Aye. Sometimes a pirate captain has to look out for his crew. I noticed that Pirate Daddy was hard at work and hadn't a bite to eat since morning. "Pirate Daddy, be that thunder or be that your ol' belly growlin' at ya?" "Aye," said Pirate Daddy. "I'm a wee bit famished. What are we going to do?"
"Leave it to yer ol' mate Pirate Shortbeard!" said I, and I ran off to the galley.
I found me some pots with food in 'em from last night's feast. But I had to warm them up first. So I took meself over to the stove and turned it on.
Soon, the pan started to heat up, so I took to stirrin' the food like I were rowin' a boat!
When it were ready, I grabbed a plate from the shelf.
And brought Pirate Daddy his dinner. "Aye. What a surprise! Me ol' mate Shortbeard has made me dinner!"
"But what'll ye be havin'?" asked Pirate Daddy.
"Aye. Ye know all too well, me old friend. This pirate loves his ham!"
